What is Tibetan Bowl Massage?
Tibetan Bowl Massage is based on the ancient knowledge concerning the effects of sound on the body. Sound has been used in Indian healing therapy as long ago as 5,000 years. Some Eastern ideas suggest that people are created out of sound, meaning that people are sound. If a human being is "in tune" with themselves and their environment, then they are able to arrange their life freely and creatively. This form of massage is conducted by placing several types of brass bowls around a patient and having the bowls struck in a certain order to produce a harmonizing sound.
This therapy helps with body aches, headaches, and is a great form of relaxing massage.
